Phillip Drown

Phillip Drown is the author of two novels, The Reputation of Booya Carthy (2015) and The Shame of John Slade (2024). He is also a prolific writer of short stories – mostly focussed on the comic, the twisted, and the absurd – which have featured in multiple anthologies. As well as writing fiction for adults and children, he has also worked as an editor and a bookseller.
