Anthony Barone

Tony Barone is writer and playwright. His plays have run in the New York black-box theater circuit. Before retiring from industry he was engaged in world trade for four decades. He held executive positions in logistics services at both large and small companies including Pfizer and UTI. He served as an advisor to the World Customs Organization (2006-2014); the U.S. Department of Commerce Supply Chain Competitiveness Committee (2012-2014) and U.S. Customs (2006 - 2009). As Chair of Customs and Trade Facilitation at the International Chamber Of Commerce (2011- 2014) he identified the export-import problems of smaller enterprises. He was an adjunct professor at Rutgers University and taught trade related courses at New York's World Trade Institute before it closed. Tony is a graduate of Columbia University with an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
