Adeline Ruel

Adeline Ruel, a Fine Arts graduate in France, became a multimedia designer and director for museography, a 3D animator for DVD publishing, and then for television. She later turned to children's publishing and was the artistic director for over 11 years before taking flight on her own.

She is the author and illustrator of about fifty children's books (early childhood documentaries, picture books, poetry books, fantasy novels, etc.). With Flammarion Jeunesse, she developed the "Mon imagier nature" collection, documentary books about the discovery of nature and published 3 Giant Picture Book of Father Castor. Her first novel "La toute petite librairie" - The Very Small Bookshop - (Gulfstream) won the schoolchildren's prize at the Imaginales in 2020.

She has also ventured into the world of science fiction podcasts with her series 'Intersignes', available on listening platforms: Deezer, Spotify, Apple Podcast, etc.

Adeline Ruel currently lives in Burgundy with her husband, her daughter, and her border collie.
