First and foremost, I must warn all who read this, that my prose is more in keeping with a story teller as apposed to someone who writes with grammatical precision. I would imagine this turns off most publishers, but "it is what it is." I guess I am an older gentleman being almost seventy three years old. I tend to not recognize this fact as my wife would very difenitely agree. I love the wilderness, or anything to do with it. Most of my books take place in and around the wildeness. I have written five books that have been published. I am surely not getting rich off a any of them. That is mostly my fault. I am a lousy salesman. I just love telling the stories. I have been retired for sixteen years and do have the time to write. Winter in Illinois makes for good writing. I should have had my wife Kathy helping me edit these books, but it didn't work for us. We have been married for fifty one years and when I wanted her to read my stories (God help her), she would tell me what was wrong with sentence structure, spelling, and on and on. I wanted her opinion of the story, but she just can't help herself with the editing. I believe, with the next book, I will pay to have amazon edit it and then let my lovely wife read it.
