Tara Eisenhauer Ebersole

I am a retired professor, publishing my debut novel at 71, with a lifetime of experiences and stories. I am looking to share my stories in the hopes of making someone else's life richer. Bits of Spirit is my first foray into writing fiction and it is about the resilience of the human spirit, crossing genres of women's fiction, literary fiction, and historical fiction.

In addition, I am the illustrator of a self-published children’s series, Little Honey’s Little Adventures. I collaborated with my sister, Rachel Eisenhauer, on the Little Honey books which are based on our own childhood experiences. Photographs of me and my sister as children, as well as those of my children and grandchildren, served as models for many of my illustrations.

I currently reside in Baltimore, MD with my husband, Eric.
