Sandra Langford Abbey

Sandra Langford Abbey had her dream job overseeing organizational effectiveness, strategic planning and execution, human resources, training and development and other administrative services when she decided to follow her dreams. That's right - thinking about starting her own leadership training and development consulting company went from a passing thought from time to time to a dream that haunted her all day every day. It was time to quit corporate life and strike out on her own.

Now Sandra has her own company, Leader Discovery, develops leadership training academies and workshops for organizations, blogs on topics of leadership development, and is working on her next book on how to create a leadership development program for small to mid-sized organizations such as her clients. She has also recently ventured into learning to podcast and add video blogging to her repertoire, so those will soon be available to her blog subscribers.

Sandra lives in southern Arizona where she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, rock climbing, and kayaking (when she can find enough water). She is inspired most by her husband of 29 years and her two adult children who are (of course) brilliant.
