Kathy Jacobson

Kathy J. Jacobson worked with youth in the juvenile justice system for ten years, and later in youth and rural ministry for twenty. She lives in Monona, Wisconsin with her husband. She is an avid traveler, having visited all fifty states and six continents. She loves music, the theater, and sports, but her true passion is writing. Her first fiction novel, Noted!, debuted in November of 2015. On Another Note, released on May 13, 2016, is the second book in the Noted! series. A third book, A New Note, was released on September 15, 2016. "Scratch Pad," the fourth book in the Noted! series, was released in January, 2017. "Footnotes," the fifth book in the series, was released on October 5, 2018. She has also published devotions in Augsburg Fortress' publication, The Word in Season. Her mystery series began with In the Secret Heart, released on August 27, 2021. A Change of Heart, released on September 15, 2022 and Matters of the Heart, released March 25, 2025.
