Born in Russia, Slava Polishchuk is an artist. His work has been exhibited in numerous museums and galleries, including The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, Moscow; the Lithuanian State Museum of Art, Vilnius; the Chelsea Art Museum, New York; B'nai B'rith Klutznic National Jewish Museum, Washington, DC; Pace University Gallery, New York; Brooklyn College Gallery, New York. His works are included in public and private collections, such as The Tretyakov State Gallery, Moscow; the Russian State Archive of Literature and Art (RGALI), Moscow; the Lithuanian State Museum, Vilnius, Lithuania; Zimmerli Art Museum, Norton Dodge Collection, Rutgers University, Newark, New Jersey; The Paul Robeson Galleries, Rutgers University, Newark, New Jersey; the Kolodzei Foundation; Brooklyn College; Pace University; Fox & Fowle Architects (New York). Since 2003, he has been working in collaboration with Asya Dodina. Slava Polishchuk's published books include Time of Happines, Noscow, 1994; The Army Notebook, Moscow, 1995; What Remains (translation by Sibelan Forrester), New York, 2013; Diptych, New York, 2014.He currently lives in New York. He is a Conservator at Special Collections at Brooklyn College. Slava Polishchuk works and teaches at Brooklyn College and the Pratt Institute.
