James Scott Bernard

James Scott Bernard is a Master Mariner and Chartered Life Underwriter.

Jim crossed the Columbia River Bar as an ordinary seaman at sixteen. He received his Deck Officer’s license at twenty-one and served during the Korean War.

Until recently, Jim served as a captain and guide at Yes Bay, Alaska taking guests fishing for salmon, halibut and other bottom fish.
