James Wieland

James Wieland was born in Chico, CA, in the United States. He grew up knowing the woods and coastline of the West Coast as well as the deep forests of the East, spending most of his formative years in school performing groups traveling between the U.S., Canada, and Europe. He completed a degree in Business Marketing from Grand Canyon University and has IT, pentesting, and front-end development certifications.

Wieland writes in multiple genres under different pen names. His current work, under his given name, spans literary fiction, poetry, and non-fiction. He covers topics from the U.S. criminal justice system to politics to neurodegenerative diseases. That includes his role as both an American author and ghostwriter for various Fortune 500 companies and modern luminaries.

When not writing, you can find Wieland typing furiously away at a local bookstore or coffee shop around Midcoast Maine. Besides his author career, Wieland manages a web design and copywriting business as a freelancer. He lives in Maine with his fantastic wife and two headstrong daughters.
