Stefano Carloni

Stefano Carloni is an italian comics book artist, graduated in 2010 from the Scuola Internazionale di Comics in Jesi. The same year he started publishing in Italy, collaborating with EMI edizioni, Ed. Arcadia, Manfont, Moretti Compact, Star Comics.

Since 2013, he starts working for Franco-Belgian comics: he draws "Sinclair" published in 2014 by Editions Paquet (drawings and colors) on a script by L.F. Bollée. He drew the series "Les Savants" Soleil éditions, on a script by L. Blengino. Two volumes published between 2015 and 2016, and a limited edition in b/w published by Les Sculpteurs des bulles; he draws "Clemenceau", on a script R. Dély, released by Glénat in the collection "Ils ont fait l'histoire". He participated in the collective project "Méchants - Les grandes figures du mal au cinéma et dans la pop culture" by Dobbs, released by Hachette Heroes editions. In 2017, he put in images the second volume of "Le Nouveau Monde" (Dargaud), a story by F. Armanet and J. Helpert. In 2018 he works on "Léon le grand: defier Attila" for the collection "Un Pape dans l'histoire" by Glénat editions.

In 2019 Dargaud entrusted him, on texts by Jean-Charles Kraehn, the resumption of the series Barbe-Rouge (Redbeard), created in 1959 by Jean-Michel Charlier and Vicor Hubinon.

He is also a teacher at the Accademia di Comics Creatività ed Arti visive in Jesi, Italy.
