Since leaving the London Film School in the mid-seventies David has worked mainly as a freelance director, producer, teacher and writer. Other life experiences have included: working as a freelance photographer and drama teacher in London, directing a music promo in Findhorn Scotland, working in a tin mine in Australia and most famously, singing for forty minutes with Otis Redding in a minicab!

His first science fiction book The Paradigm Shift was initially conceived in a dream. Although originally written as a screenplay, the book was created to get the story to a wider audience and to stimulate interest from film producers who are interested in making metaphysical & visionary movies!

Although David is about to publish his second sci-fi book Secret Horizon, he is still committed to transforming The Paradigm Shift into a movie! David lives with his wife Linda near Cambridge, England and has two children.
