Lamar J Young

A native of Michigan, Lamar has been an avid reader of astrology since the age of nine. His interest in the subject was sparked by his maternal aunt Merlynn. As a graduate of the Flint Public School System and Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, he began his career as a high school US History and humanities teacher with Evanston Township High School District 202 in Evanston, Illinois. He relocated to Georgia where he attended graduate school at the University of West Georgia and earned a Master’s as well as a Specialist degree in School Guidance Counseling and Education Administration. His profound interest and knowledge of astrology has guided him and his work throughout his lifetime and career. He currently resides in Atlanta where he is a professional school counselor and adviser with the Atlanta Public School System. Lamar continues to write and research astrological science as well as travels the country as a national trainer for school counselors.
