Ann Chase worked in public schools for 27 years. She was a classroom teacher, an assistant principal, and then had the opportunity to go back into the classroom. The lessons she learned, first as a teacher, and then as an administrator, were lessons she was able to take back to the classroom and apply. The intersection of theory and practice created a place to implement those lessons. It was the realization that other teachers might benefit from this practical, and straight-forward approach that led her to write this book.
Ann lives with her husband Martin in Missouri. She believes that her three sons provided some of the best professional development she could have had, and is enjoying watching her grandchildren as they begin their own journeys. She is available to share her experiences and insights, and can be reached at annchase11@gmail.com
