Tamara Weed

Tamara Weed was born in Lansing, Michigan in 1958. She wanted to be a veterinarian but it's probably a good thing that she wasn't because she would have a farm full of animals if she had! An English teacher in high school told her that she should become a writer. Tamara says she loves to write, and that no matter what she's doing, she'll see something or hear something unusual and her brain will immediately go into writing mode. She followed the advice of her teacher and did start writing but between raising a family, and fighting cancer, it took a bit of time to get her first book out. Her first book, Time Lifted, was written in 1995 but wasn't published until 2016. The distance between writing and publishing is why she will tell you to keep pursuing your dreams, no matter how long it takes.
