To say that I'm passionate about wildlife, oceans, trees, and everything about nature and the natural world would be understating it. I've lived my life in awe and wonder of what we have been blessed with in this world and I dream of the ultimate conservation of the Earth.

As I grow older and have a child of my own I see him discovering while I rediscover with him.

From the time he was able to walk he was investigating puddles, bushes, tide pools, creeks and forests. When he was an infant riding in his baby backpack he and I would take long hikes in the woods with our dogs. We have been boat, pier, surf and freshwater fishing together since he was 4 years old and it's now his passion.

I want to continue to support and inspire his interest in nature. As he gets excited about new things, I write a book in my Nature Kids series to teach him and his friends about that particular topic. My first book; Raptors - Discovering Awesome Birds of Prey takes a look at the awesome qualities and characteristics of raptors and highlights specific species which is really exciting for young readers.
