"Writing is in my blood," says Doug Heyes. "My dad was an amazing writer. My craft was learned in the chair opposite my father's desk, where he read every word he ever wrote to me. It was his way of communicating his love, of sharing his gift, of transmitting our creative lineage. In his bio for his second book, he wrote, 'I find the less I read about writers, the better their writing reads.' I hear you, Dad."

At the height of a successful career in show business, Doug Heyes experienced what has been called a miraculous healing from a near-fatal injury -- an event that revealed a deep connection to an inner Source of healing, which, says Heyes, "...is the divine birthright of all human beings." In his first book, "The Touch ~ Healing Miracles and Methods," Heyes shares his own amazing journey and some of the profound demonstrations that have kept him on the path. More than that, "The Touch" provides a set of simple, practical methods for self-healing and facilitating healing in others.

"I'm still telling stories and writing," Doug smiles, "only now the story is my own and the writing is all about healing and personal empowerment." With a busy private practice in the healing arts, Doug also travels and teaches people how to heal themselves and each other. His "Awaken Your Inner Healer" workshop is slated for a tour of 7 US cities this Spring and Summer, 2016.
