John Schurmann

John was born in Zurich, Switzerland, but grew up on a dairy farm in Quebec, Canada. After graduating from High School he followed his dream to work in western Canada. His passions let him to study theology in Saskatchewan, psychology in British Columbia and social work in Ontario.

He is a registered clinical social worker, individual, couple and family psychotherapist, ADD specialist and life coach. He holds three degrees including a master's degree in clinical social work from Wilfrid Laurier University. He has extensive training in specialized areas of counselling: marital and family therapy, mental health issues, child and adult ADD, psychiatry, spirituality, sexuality, family violence and alcohol/drug abuse.

He has a full time counselling practice in Markham, Ontario, Canada.
