A lifelong fan of history, science fiction and fantasy, crime and mysteries (basically, he reads a lot) he also draws from an eclectic background that's seen him work at everything from warehousing and construction, to lifeguarding, waiting tables running a successful company and serving on the board of two different billion-dollar firms. He's traveled the world to chase deep-sea fishing and whitewater rafting (from the Yukon to the Congo) but counts writing an adventure like no other.

Ed and his wife have two children, Kayla and Thomas, who went off to college, law school and cryptocurrency, but left Ed and Cynthia with their cats.
