Dr. Mary Harrell is a licensed psychologist and a Jungian-oriented psychotherapist. She is Associate Professor Emeritus at State University of New York at Oswego, Curriculum and Instruction Department School of Education. Before becoming a professor and a psychologist, she was a classroom teacher for 30 years with an M.Ed. from the University of Delaware.
Through the lens of analytical psychology, Dr. Harrell explains the nature of imaginal figures, those very real beings who come in dreams, visionary encounters, myths and fairy tales. They are all much more than they first seem. Dr. Harrell's stories open a path for others to encounter their own imaginal figures. Each encounter in the imaginal landscape, offers readers a different view of soul's transformation and healing potential. As readers move from page to page, they learn the wonders of living life imaginatively. Dr. Harrell resides in South Carolina with her husband Stephen.
