Adrian Hinkle is the Vice President of Academic Affairs at Southwestern Christian University. Her scholarship is focused on hermeneutics, active learning theory, construction of childhood, and the Hebrew Bible.
She is an active member of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. She has served as chair of the steering committee for an accreditation review and serves as a peer reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission. Adrian teaches courses in hermeneutics, theology, and the Hebrew Bible.
Publications include: Pedagogical Theory of Wisdom Literature (Wipf and Stock, forthcoming), Pedagogical Theory of the Hebrew Bible (Wipf and Stock, 2016), “Your Church Needs More than a Monologue” in Encourage vol. 3 no. 3 (2016), "IPHC Prayerfully Values Scripture” in IPHC 7 Core Values (LifeSprings, 2013). She has also presented papers for the Society for Pentecostal Studies, Society for Biblical Literature, and Christian Adult Higher Education Association.
