Ann Cacciottoli

Ann Cacciottoli is a retired IT professional with a strong combination of accounting, financial and management reporting, and IT skills. She has over 20 years of experience with SAP solutions, with a focus on SAP Financials and Reporting.

Ann was a respected project manager known for delivering solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner; trusted to maintain confidentiality and provide timely and accurate results with a commitment to company goals. Innate talent for identifying information needs of business. Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously; PSM1 Certified.

Ann began her SAP journey as an accounting and finance professional in industry, eventually recruited to an IT organization to support an SAP Finance Transformation project. After a lengthy career in industry, she shifted to consulting. She worked for Deloitte Consulting, and as an Engagement Manager for TCS.

The perspective Ann brings to clients and publications is that of an accounting professional, often frustrated with training for new systems that is technically focused, if training is received at all. Accountants are often asked to perform a month end close following a go-live with little or no hands-on experience. This can be frightening and tiresome.

Ann has retired to Carlyle Lake, Illinois where she enjoys fishing, sailing, cruising, pickleball, and playing guitar & bass in a blues duo with her husband Joe.
