I want to thank you for taking the time to visit my Amazon author's page. I am the author of a four novel thriller series centered on the international hotel and casino business. I have a fifth book, my autobiography Mosaic Life Tiles, the first in a planned two-book series.

Back in 2016, I finally acted on my desire to write my first novel, BLOOD DICE. I spent most of my professional career in the hospitality industry and enjoyed reading fast-paced thriller novels. I gravitated to books with characters that popped off the pages and intricate storylines with twists that left me breathless. I had set the bar high for myself, but after finishing BLOOD DICE, my readers say that I had delivered the goods. This then led to three books to follow, and the four-book series is now out.

My novels address the woes of the world. In BLOOD DICE, I take on labor union greed, corrupt government officials conspiring to commit murder and kidnapping in an attempt to take over a multinational hotel and casino corporation. In the follow-up novel THE RED JEWEL (husband and wife team), Eldon and Kimberley take on the Russian Mafia and KGB as they try to operate their newly opened Moscow hotels in the new Russian Federation of the early '90s, just after the fall of communism.

My third novel in the series, INN FORMATION, has Eldon and Kimberley opening their new property in Cairo, Egypt. INN FORMATION finds them front and center in trying to break a secret code embedded in the hieroglyphs throughout their hotel before jihadi terrorist wake sleeper cells in the US and reign havoc on America.

BORDER HOUSE, the fourth and final book in the hotel-casino adventure series, has Eldon and Kimberley building shelters along the US/Mexico border to house refugees and migrants with dignity and compassion. BORDER HOUSE is a run for the US border by a young Honduran mother, Gina, and her two children from Central America gangs and for a new life in America. The problem is that Gina carries a secret with her that only the US president and his agents know. She must be stopped at all cost before reaching the safety of a BORDER HOUSE.

My books are written based on my own life experiences. In my autobiography, MOSAIC LIFE TILES, I recall our family's struggle in making a new life for ourselves in Canada. We had escaped communism and tyranny during the Hungarian revolution and uprising in 1956; we too were refugees in a new land and country that was not, in fact, paved with gold. MOSAIC LIFE TILES is a collection of seven short stories that highlight life events that shaped who I am today. The hardships our family faced as newcomers to Canada, my entry into the hotel business, and international travels filled with adventures.

My new novel is a turn towards science fiction. The story takes place in the period between 2023 and 2055. THE FOREVER BUG is a take on the pandemic but with an unexpected storyline and situation that puts humanity at the crossroads. The Forever Bug is a new breed of virus evolved from Covid, that kills all "bad" viruses ending all diseases and reverses aging in the elderly. You'd think all humanity's problems would be solved but think again. The price for everlasting youth may prove too high to pay.

I now consider myself semi-retired. I am no longer actively engaged in the hospitality business, but now being a writer, I can't say that I am in retirement. Writing is now a passion, and I try putting out at least one book every year.

On a final note, I enjoy photography as a hobby, and I'm sort of a news junky. I now make my home in the Kawartha region of Ontario's cottage country. I still like weekend getaways on my motorcycle and fast cars. Thanks for reading my books.
