David Hall

D.P. Hall was born in 1976 in Carshalton, Surrey. He moved to Littlehampton on the south coast of England in 1986, where he completed his education.

1998, he worked with cranes and carried out many technically challenging lifting operations. He then started writing in 2009. His first book, "Jamie Pond In Rise of The Heron," has been popular with young readers across the globe, with young readers in Canada, the US, and the UK. The second edition boasts some fantastic illustrations of the characters from within the story. The illustrations for his first book’s cover and content were created by D.P. Hall himself.

He enjoys writing and creating the characters for his children’s books and has many more stories to tell of the adventures of Jamie Pond.

D.P. Hall writes to capture the hearts and imaginations of young and old alike.
