Amy Whitaker

Amy Whitaker is an assistant professor of visual arts administration at New York University. She studies the frictions between art and markets and has proposed new structures for artists' financial sustainability. She is the recipient of the Edith Penrose Award for trailblazing research from the European Academy of Management and the Sarah Verdone Writing Award from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.
