Donna Psiaki Feldman, MS RDN, has been a registered dietitian for 40+ years. She got her unofficial start in nutrition while experimenting with vegetarian cooking, and used that knowledge to start a vegetarian cafeteria line in a small New England college. She holds a Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Communications from Cornell University. Her career path in nutrition includes many different jobs, including clinical practice, food service management, nutrition research, college teaching, private practice and running a personal chef business. In addition to authoring 2 books, she hosted a blog/podcast site for 14 years, focusing exclusively on healthy aging in the past three years.
Donna enjoys walking, mountain biking, cross-country and alpine skiing, hiking, tennis, gardening, tap dancing and cooking. She loves recipes that reflect the Mediterranean style diet. Her first book, "Feed Your Vegetarian Teen" (now in 2nd edition), uses many of those principles. Her second book, "Food Wisdom for Women," focuses on nutrition and diet for healthy aging. It was updated in 2020 to include a new chapter on nutrition and immune function. She is now working on a third book.
