Barbara Adam

Barbara fell in love with Vietnam during a cycling trip with her dad in 2007. A few months later, she quit her job as a political reporter in Australia for a new, more carefree and exotic life.

Now Barbara lives in Ho Chi Minh City with her Vietnamese husband, Vu Vo. Together they wrangle their two kids and three dogs and take visitors out to eat their city's best street food through their boutique tour business, Saigon Street Eats.

Barbara's work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Telegraph, The Age and Lucky Peach. She contributed several chapters to Fodor's Vietnam travel guidebook, published in 2015.
