Jody Kaye

Before becoming an international bestselling author, Jody Kaye used to cook dinner for her family …Or so her three sons say, since she still maintains they began eating the meal ingredients for snacks around the same time.

It makes her wonder if the phrase “just 5 more minutes” only counted for video games and not toward penning the last paragraph of a romance novel?

A voracious reader, Jody has written over 25 small-town books, including the steamy southern Kingsbrier and angsty Shattered Hearts of Carolina series. Among her emotionally relatable cast of characters are coming of age twenty-year-olds and later-in-life single parents. She even threw in a psychic medium for a dash of suspense!

Jody currently resides in North Carolina with her husband, who continually proves an insta-love romance can last a lifetime—and who’s glad he talked her into being a writer and out of the bougie French stove she wanted.

Her children have either moved out or are currently waiting in line for their take-out order. She’s hungry and hopes they ordered extra fries.
