Eric Maier has been writing since childhood and has won contests for both his short stories and poetry. He’s produced, designed, and edited newsletters for various agencies and literary magazines. He’s also led local writer’s groups focusing on improving skills through constructive critique and feedback, the largest of which was over 2,600 members. He has a passion for science fiction and fantasy.

He enjoys playing doubles sand-volleyball, hiking, photography, movies, singing karaoke, playing board and computer games, and spending time with his family. He likes to travel and experience new things and has been to many domestic and international destinations, including Africa, Canada, London and the Caribbean. So far, he has lived in or visited 24 of the 50 states in the United States.
