Cherie Morris, J.D., is a CDC® Certified Divorce Coach, a former attorney and law firm COO, and the author of Should I Stay or Should I Go? and Putting Kids First in Divorce. She has spent nearly a decade helping individuals, couples, and co-parents navigate separation, divorce, and co-parenting — from the "should I stay or go?" decision (including gray divorce at or after 50) through high-conflict co-parenting. Unlike most coaches, who work with one person at a time, she works with the whole couple and family system — because it's not the divorce that harms children; it's the conflict.
Cherie is an instructor in the CDC® High Conflict Divorce Coaching certification program, training other coaches in high-conflict work, and a trained mediator. She writes the Dear Divorce Coach advice column and hosts Between Sessions, a national peer community for divorce professionals founded by Karen Bonnell, author of The Co-Parenting Handbook, who entrusted it to her upon her retirement.
A graduate of Duke University and the University of Iowa College of Law, Cherie is a divorced mom of four and a co-parent herself — experience that informs everything she does. She works with clients nationwide, virtually.
