Gemma Denham

Gemma lives in the UK with her husband and two boys. Always interested in art and design, she began her career illustrating children's books in an art studio in Coleorton, Leicestershire. It wasn't until she had her first child that she decided to start writing, and she launched a series of picture books of her own that she both wrote and illustrated whilst dreaming of one day breaking into adult literature.

Fast forward a few years and the itch of writing a novel finally got scratched. 'The Storm' is Gemma's debut novel and is classic whodunnit with a modern twist set in the beautiful Lake District. Gemma also has two more novels in the pipeline, and of course, the ideas notebook is always brimming with the next one!

In what little spare time Gemma has, she enjoys baking, hiking through the countryside, filling her sketchbook, and a good bit of DIY as she and her husband slowly renovate their home.
