I am a Professor in Operations Management at Jinan University (PR China).
I worked in several companies as a front-line worker, did an apprenticeship and became a master craftsman (‘Meister’) before I started to study at the Technical University Berlin (Germany). Later did I decide to get involved in academia. I hold a Masters from the Technical University Berlin and a Ph.D from the University of Coimbra (Portugal).
Simple control for complex shops is one of my main research interests. I published widely on this topic and consider myself a leading expert on Lean Work Design, Workload Control and COBACABANA. You can learn more at www.workloadcontrol.com
