Theresa Geller

Theresa L. Geller is currently a Scholar-in-Residence with the Beatrice Bain Research Group housed in the Department of Gender and Women's Studies at UC Berkeley and teaches in the School of Cinema at San Francisco State University. Before relocating to the Bay Area, Geller served as the EKI Associate Professor of Film Theory and History at Grinnell College and was a Mellon Fellow at Yale University. Dr. Geller's research interests span film and media studies, film-philosophy, critical race theory, and feminist and queer theory. She is the author of the TV Milestones volume on The X-Files (Wayne State UP, 2016) and edited (with Julia Leyda) Reframing Todd Haynes: Feminism's Indelible Mark (Duke UP, 2022).
