Daniel J. Patinkin is a Chicago-based author with three published books – The Crippler: Cage Fighting and My Life on the Edge (Skyhorse Publishing, 2016), The Trigger: Narratives of the American Shooter (Arcade Publishing, 2018), and Vestiges (Transmitter, 2024). Patinkin's work has been featured and/or reviewed in the The Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, USA Today, Salon, Publishers Weekly, Kirkus Reviews, Vice, Library Journal, and more. He possesses a B.A. from Indiana University and an M.F.A from the University of Southern California.
