Diane D. Knott

I made my first quilt in 1997. In 2012, and many quilts later, I created the online pattern company and website called Butterfly Threads Quilting. I have published over a dozen patterns, created three templates, been featured in Quilt Magazine, Primitive Quilts and Patchwork, Fons and Porter Easy Quilts, and the American Patchwork and Quilting Calendar. I was also a regular contributing writer to the Craftsy Quilting Blog for five years. I am currently long arm quilting for hire, designing fabric collections, and the 2023 Quiltmania Sew Along designer.

I've written two books published by C&T, Scrap Quilt Secrets and Strip Quilt Secrets. Both of these books are the result of years spent traveling and teaching quilt workshops and doing quilt programs for guilds and groups. I wanted to share all of the most useful tips and tricks for quilting that results is better quilts in less time. I hope you enjoy them!
