Tony Annesi

Tony Annesi's writing started with poetry and short fiction (the first stories of 1969: LOSS OF INNOCENCE were drafted in 1969). His martial arts writing began with columns for INSIDE KARATE MAGAZINE and articles for MARTIAL ARTS MASTERS, SELF-DEFENSE WORLD, INSIDE KUNG-FU, THE INTERNATIONAL FIGHTER, and BLACK BELT. Annesi has also produced over 100 seminar video programs for Aiki, Karate, and Integrated Arts available at www.bushido-kai.net.

Annesi writes in many genres. Some of his poetry appears his novels; he writes short stories (1969, Loss of Innocence), fantasy (The Shangrilla Artifacts trilogy), martial arts articles, educative “pastiched” true stories (Tales of the Dojo & The Dojo Files), martial arts instructional texts, and self-development philosophy (The Road to Mastery).
