Marian Saunders White

Dr. Marian Saunders White is a seasoned Business and Technology professional, serial entrepreneur, and the founder of The Refinery, a coaching and consulting firm dedicated to supporting the operational needs of small business owners. With over 25 years of corporate experience across software development, human resources, leadership development, and contract management, Marian brings a wealth of knowledge and practical insight to every engagement.

As a certified Business Life Coach, Marian works closely with aspiring and emerging entrepreneurs to help them find clarity, build confidence, and take decisive action. Her signature coaching framework guides clients from uncertainty to execution, enabling them to align personal vision with business success.

Marian grew up in Philadelphia and move to Maryland to begin her undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), where she majored in Information Systems Technology. She earned her Masters of Business Administration, with an emphasis on Technology Management, from the University of Phoenix, and holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from William Howard Taft University.

She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and an active member of several professional and social organizations, including Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. In addition to her professional pursuits, Marian is a published author, passionate trainer and facilitator, and an avid traveler who enjoys exploring new cultures and perspectives.

She lives in Maryland with her family, including her Yorkie Mozart.
