Gerard Thomas O'Brien

Gerard Thomas O'Brien was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1960. He studied technology and business studies at Strathclyde University, philosophy and theology at Milltown Institute, Dublin, and holds a PhD from the University of Glasgow in Theology and Religious Studies.

His main research interest is developing an evidence based approach to passing on the Christian faith. The range of his literary works - from a novel to practical spiritual development material to critique of Church documentation - all reflect this concern in different ways.
