David Nees

After receiving a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s of Education, I began my working career as a teacher…until I was seduced by motorcycles. I threw myself into racing and left teaching to open a motorcycle dealership, thereby starting a dual career as a motorcycle dealer and racer. While I achieved some level of racing success, I realized my future did not lie on the track (not really built for the sport, being six feet, four inches tall). The motorcycle business expanded into the fitness business, and I went on to build a twenty-seven-store regional chain.

Always a voracious reader with a vivid imagination, I began writing full-time after leaving the business world. My wife and I recently moved to the eastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay into a house with a wonderful writing nook on the second floor (a big selling feature).

"After the Fall: Jason's Tale" was my first book published. It is a post-apocalyptic story that rose to #1 in both PA and dystopian categories. After two sequels, I started writing in the thriller genre as well, starting with "Payback". Ten thriller books later, I'm enjoying my protagonist, Dan Stone, as he deals with terrorist threats around the globe. You can see my book list for a complete bibliography.
