Marshall Appoh

Marshall Appoh is an author, storyteller, poet and English educator whose work draws on more than two decades of teaching and a life lived across Ghana, the United Kingdom and Spain.

Born in Accra, Ghana, he studied Management at the University of Reading before moving to Madrid in 2003. His experiences across different countries, cultures and classrooms have shaped both his fiction and his educational writing.

His literary work explores identity, relationships, migration, mystery and the unexpected turns of ordinary lives, while his English-learning books transform years of classroom experience into practical resources for Spanish-speaking learners.

His works include the Osam Mensah series, standalone novels and stories, poetry, and the Everyday English Grammar Series.

Whether writing fiction or teaching language, Marshall's work is ultimately driven by the same fascination: people, communication and the stories that connect us.
