William Christiansen

Bill Christiansen retired from Pfizer Inc. after a 40-year career that included facilitating incident investigations and teaching root cause analysis. To make this boring subject interesting, he starting using the Titanic disaster as the example incident for the class. Bill’s interest in the Titanic and his knowledge of root cause analysis culminated in his recently published book, The Perfect Calm, The Titanic Disaster: A Case Study in Root Cause Analysis.
