A. C. Vaner

Adem Can Vaner is a psychic medium who grew up in the suburbs around the lower mainland in Vancouver BC Canada. He has quite a diverse academic and work background that ranges from DJ-mixing to teaching ESL. In his early twenties, A. C. Vaner found himself heavily drawn to metaphysics, mediumship and spiritualism. Whatever though he was involved in, his main passion has always been writing. Since a very young age, he developed a strong liking for words, particularly their phonetics, etymology and energies.

One creation that A. C. Vaner is very proud of, is his debut novel, The Journey of Jeffery. What is incomparable about this novel is every chapter has a leading color that assists in representing and illustrating the various themes explored in and throughout the story—which is also notable for the crocksvenbulb, a circular symbol that appears in several colors, that was channeled by A. C. Vaner himself. It is a symbol that encompasses one’s ideologies, philosophies, paradigm, perspective, opinions and general outlook on life.

Having a strong liking for fiction and non-fiction authors such as Dr. Werner Gitt, Roald Dahl, Lloyd Alexander, Steven Saylor and Doreen Virtue, it is absolutely unsurprising that A. C. Vaner is very passionate to write about spiritual, theological, enlightening, hidden, and even whimsical topics through depictions, symbolism and writing between the lines. He also believes that writing should be done completely out of love and without any agendas. As written in his novel, A. C. Vaner says: "Only love can guide, and only love can teach; only love can move us along, and only love can provide us with precision and give us the strength to accept one another. Love is an endless cycle that brings no other than liberation. It brings us liberation from our evil deeds and our selfish needs."
