George Clowers

George H. Clowers, Jr. is a poet turned novelist. He published his first novel in 2015, and has since produced a follow-up novella, a collection of short stories, and another book of poetry. He is a superb storyteller, using his many years as an addiction counselor to add flavor and depth to explorations on relationships, culture, and business affairs. He lives just outside of Atlanta, Georgia, where he was born and raised, with his wife, Deborah, an abstract artist. He attended Georgia State University for a few years before setting out to write poetry in 1976. He plays golf, and they pack up for at least two road trips a year, to the beach, or the desert.
