Alex Nouri

Alex Nouri completed his Bachelor of General Studies in business administration and international relations at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is a Certified Payment Professional and has authored numerous articles in the field of transaction processing and industry practices in prominent national magazines.

Mr. Nouri is the founder and President of EFT Direct, an acquiring and consulting firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, since 2000. He is an expert in merchant processing solutions and services, efficiency, and management consulting. He is meticulous with a uniquely gifted ability to think outside the box. Having seen unscrupulous practices and frauds committed against small business owners by some large credit card processors/ISOs directly and indirectely with no effective supervision and accountability by indistrry associations such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover as well as the largest processors and sponsoring banks with their eyes and ears closed to these crimes committed on a daily basis against hard-working mom and pop merchatns who are the backbone of the U.S. economy, he decided to share his knowledge with others. This book is the culmination of nearly two decades of his experiences.

Mr. Nouri’s interests are learning, Peoples, cultures, global warming, saving the planet and animals, foods, and social justice and injustice. He is multilingual, has traveled extensively, and has lived in France, Turkey, Iran, and the United States.
