Christopher Brickhill

Chris was born in Australia, emigrated to the UK, and then the US. He has also spent a decade in Asia.

Chris formed STORM Technology in New York in 1982. STORM, a treasury and risk management system re-shaped the business of risk management. He has advised the twenty largest banks and numerous smaller financial institutions, in New York, London, Beijing, Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Jakarta, Hanoi and Kuala Lumpur. He is concerned with low levels of capital, exotic derivatives, the banking oligarchy, the low level of banker expertise and integrity, and today’s risk management metrics.

Chris has published several feature articles, and books, and is currently working on Palestine, and the Israeli Apartheid State. One Land. 5.5 Million Refugees. Israel's Rejection of Peace.

Chris is a strong advocate of human rights. He is particularly concerned with the problems in the Middle East, and Israel's continued occupation of Palestine, its long-standing refusal to abide by UN and the international communities’ directions, its obligations, and its egregious abuses of human rights.

Chris is a strong and effective communicator. He has taught at universities and commercial organizations. He is a Past Patron of the Metropolitan Opera, New York, a member of the Oxford and Cambridge Society, a Balliol College fund raiser, and a past President of the Balliol JCR. He was a Director of Martha Graham, and is an avid tennis player. He is a native British English speaker and writer. He has a good command of Brazilian Portuguese, and speaks some French, Italian and Mandarin.
