Robby Robertson’s biography reads much like one of his action stories—and it’s no accident! Robby grew up in a time when kids roamed. He and his paperboy buddies thought nothing of 20 mile bike trips or renting small boats and rowing across Puget Sound. They hiked and climbed in the Olympic Mountains—all with no adult supervision. He spent six years in the Air Force learning to repair computers, jump out of airplanes, and see the US. Afterwards he completed 2 college degrees, did real-time computer programming at Boeing, bird hunting with English Pointers, two years living and hunting in Alaska, wandered in Europe for months, and rode a bicycle halfway across North Africa. In 1971 he married, settled down and helped raise two kids. He was also lucky surviving the worst mountain climbing accident in US history, explored Death Valley, trekked in Bhutan’s Himalayas, had a wonderful walking safari in Africa, and climbed Mt Kilimanjaro. Now, he takes naps, loves grandkids, and writes fiction based upon real-life experiences.
