John Derrig

Born in Montour Falls, N.Y. growing up in Watkins Glen, New York. 20 years experience as a sworn police officer/detective in New York State,retiring in 1998. Upon retiring returned to college and completed his B.S., M.S, degrees, and PH.D (ABD). Was employed as a Fraud Investigator in Florida. His family is made up of three police officers/vice detective,Sgt., in Florida. His wife Doris operates with him a Florida licensed private investigation agency-Precaution Private Investigation.

Has written three books all history in type and one that is educational.

His books are all based on definitive,conclusive evidence especially the book; "The Man Who Saved Hitler." He has authored books about people from the mid 1800s which have had little literature exposure, such as the Kate Warne, Interrogation Secrets, and Dirty Dave Rudabaugh. He approaches his book research as conducting a criminal investigation, utilizing scholarly sources. The plan is for him to write and author a series of books by Detective John Derrig.
