Biography
Mechanical Engineer, Project Manager, CDM safety Manager,Published Author of three poetry books. I used to have a life before it was ripped from me by a domestic violence assault, I almost died twice that night, now left with permanent brain injury which means i can no longer work, after almost seven years that particular night still haunts me, having seen numerous psychiatrists, councilors and medical specialists for my numerous ailments, i am trying to rebuild a life through my poetry. Everyday is a challenge but, as always in my life i'll keep going until i get there.
One Hundred Kisses for Toni my first book, although specifically named is universal and the poetry could be for anyone. After almost dying in that domestic violence assault in 2012, i really wasn't looking for anyone else to love, after a couple of years and having numerous appointments at the hospital, I met someone, I asked for a date and was told no, in no uncertain way, ha ha, on attendance at my appointments i started giving her poems, she said after a few, hey, these are really good you should write a book, so i replied ok, if i write a book and get it published will you date me, to which she replied yes. twelve months later i place the book in her hands and we're still together three years later.
Demons of the mind but a light still shines, was my next book, attending appointments with my various psychiatrists and councilors, i either got very distressed or very enraged so, i started writing what i thought or was feeling, one of the psychiatrists said, you should write another poetry book with this content, you may be able to reach out and help other people who are going through similar problems, so , i did, and hope it has helped because it certainly helped me to come to terms with a lot of badness i was and had been living with, some since childhood.
