As a former teacher in the UK, USA and Australia, James has always been fascinated by the power of puzzles to increase mental sharpness, improve language skills and enhance problem solving abilities across all fields while at the same bringing great joy and entertainment to the reader. He has sold tens of thousands of puzzle books covering hobbies, sports, languages, food and drink and much more.

When not puzzling himself or writing more puzzle books, James likes to take his dog for long walks with his wife and two children and enjoys reading fiction of almost any kind and biographies.
