Raphael Allred MD

Dr. Raphael Allred was raised in a very small, quirky community in Montana and is the oldest of 5 children. As such, she learned the fine art of leadership, although her siblings felt it was better classified as bossiness. She originally wanted to be a veterinarian after reading all the James Harriot books, but quickly realized she couldn't stand to see animals suffer. So, at the ripe age of 12, she decided to become a doctor instead. She was blessed with supportive parents, laser focus and an abysmal social life as a teen, so she progressed steadily through school without any major distractions. She graduated with her MD at age 25 from the University of Utah followed by a fun and supportive residency in Grand Junction, Colorado. She then felt her debt load wasn't large enough, so she proceeded to enjoy several international trips before settling into a permanent job in Oregon. While working she met her future husband when he was the fireman on duty and brought her patient into the emergency department. Together they have enjoyed over a dozen years of marriage as well as three delightful children.
